An overwhelming demand saw the first release of Break The Ice Fest 2012 tickets sell out in a week. This has prompted organisers to seek out a bigger venue to accommodate the demand. There for it is with pleasure that we announce Break The Ice Fest 2012 will be held at TLC Bayswater. TLC Bayswater has held numerous shows over the years from internationals like The Acacia Strain to locals such as House Vs Hurricane and while it is grander in scale, it doesn’t loose any of its intimacy and feeling. In addition to the new venue, In Trenches and Endless Heights have also been added to the line up. In Trenches are gearing up for the release of their second album Sol Obscura (Monolith) and are looking to remind audiences why they are one of the most respected bands in Australia. Endless Heights are riding high on the wave of excitement generated by the December release of their Dream Strong EP (Broken Hive). Both bands will demonstrate their style alongside already announced artists Trapped Under Ice (USA), 50 Lions, Hopeless, Shinto Katana, Dropsaw, Iron Mind, Relentless, Phantoms, Anchor (SWE) and Warbrain.
As well as the best hardcore on offer, Break The Ice will also focus on the community aspects of our scene with Bake Down The Walls providing vegan goodies and other groups representing and exhibiting distros and societal concerns. All previous tickets sold are valid for the new venue, hard tickets will be collected as normal and if you have online tickets all you will need it identification.Additional Tickets On Sale Tuesday 14th February 2012
